Open Play / Paddles in the Saddles

• If you are alone and there are no others to play in your quadrant you may play in other quadrants if;

1. There is not a foursome for you to join in your rated quadrant.
2. There are 3 players waiting, a court is open, and the skill group is +/- 0.5 of your club rating.
3. You are invited or ask if you can join the waiting players.

You must return to your appropriate quadrant when there are players belonging
to that quadrant waiting and your game has finished.

PADDLES IN THE SADDLE

Place your paddle in an open holder and wait for the groups playing to finish their game and;

1. If you are the only player waiting you will replace 1 player from the first Foursome to complete their game.

2. If there are two players waiting; the first foursome to finish will have the two winners remain on the court, split and then team up with the two waiting with paddles in the saddle.
3. If there are 3 players waiting; when the first group finishes their game one player will remain while the other three are replaced by the three with paddles in the saddle. If there are four players waiting; when the first Foursome finishes their game that entire foursome is replaced by the four with paddles in the saddle.
5. You are encouraged to MIX and not maintain the same 4 players.
6. Any player can remain on the court to a maximum of two consecutive games if others are waiting to play.

** If you do not have your Paddle in the saddle or in any other designated spot, you will not be considered "as waiting" and if another player places her/his paddle in the appropriate spot they will be allowed to fill the next open court position. (If your paddle is on the table and not in the saddle it indicates you are "taking a break" and not waiting to play)
