Beginner Pickleball Lessons – Tuesday’s, 9:00 - 11:00 AM

Each Tuesday,  starting November 10th at Courts #1-4
Check-in time is 8:45 AM

Learn to play pickleball, the fastest growing sport in the nation! By the end of your first lesson, you will learn the basic fundamentals of the game, how to score, court positioning, rules and etiquette.

Sign up by attending the PEMPC Orientation (Mondays at 4:00 PM in the South Card Room)

Space for the lesson is limited to 8 players. You are only required to attend this class once! If no space is available, you can sign-up on the wait list -or- sign up for the following week. You are always welcome to observe from outside the courts until you have your own on-court lesson.

Please Bring:

  • Bottle of water (to stay hydrated)
  • Sun glasses or protective eye wear (recommended)
  • Tennis shoes (court, cross trainers or similar shoes advised)
  • Please wear your name or guest badge.

We Will Provide:
  • Pickleball paddle during your training session
  • Water

After your beginner pickleball lesson, you will receive via email an invitation to play in our Monday Mentored Round Robin. This Round Robin is geared for new players rated as beginner/novice. It is a lot of fun and also a way to meet and play with others of the same skill rating. The invitation is through LivePickleball (you will join LivePickleball at your orientation), and you must respond “yes” that you are attending; respond “no” if you do not plan to attend. If you have secured a spot, please show up at courts #1,2,3,4 Monday morning, before 8:45 AM. The Round Robin starts promptly at 9:00 AM and will last no longer than 2 hours. If you play in the Round Robin you will need to stay and play for the full two (2) hours. New students from the Tuesday lesson will receive priority for their first week only. After your third session of round robin play, you need to be at level 1.5 to continue playing in the Monday Mentored Round Robin. You will be invited every week for this round robin until you are moved to 2.0 training.

*The $25.00 fee covers your first beginner lesson and our Annual Pickleball dues. Dues help to pay for training materials, paddles, balls (we go through a lot), maintenance equipment, office supplies and minor capital improvements. Trainers are not compensated. Please bring cash or check payable to: PEM Pickleball Club.
