Our PEM Pickleball Club election of Officers (President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer) will be at our Annual Banquet/Meeting on March 14, 2018. See attached PDF for candidate pictures and bio.
Here is the section from our bylaws outlining the process:

Members wishing to be a candidate must contact the nominating committee by the date set forth by the nominating committee.
At the PEMPC annual March banquet/meeting the nominating committee will present the slate of candidates for officer positions. Voting will be by secret ballot if more than one candidate is proposed for any position otherwise a hand vote will be used.
Section 2 Quorum: A minimum of 50 members in good standing must be present.

SSIPA Tournament at Pueblo El Mirage - March 20-23, 2018
Last March we provided the venue for the first ever SSIPA tournament. This year we are going to host it ourselves. The tournament is open to all players 60 years or older (age lowered from last year). Registration opens on Monday, January 8 at 7:00 AM (not midnight) through pickleballtournaments.com. This is a skill/age tournament. Cost is $50 and includes all events. Here's a direct link for your convenience: https://www.secure.pickleballtournaments.com/welcome.pl?tid=1307. And yes, we will need lots of volunteers but it won't be as labor intensive as the Grand Canyon Games. This is a great opportunity to get your feet wet if you haven't played in tournaments before. If you have any questions, contact information is on the (PT) website.

Thanks to the hard work of many and the willingness of Roberts Resorts - we had another successful tournament here at Pueblo El Mirage
In the past four years (now five years) of hosting the Grand Canyon State Games we have had over 150 volunteers helping to make the event run smoothly.
