About Karl...

Karl was responsible for prompting Roberts Resorts to build the first two courts here at the resort. He spent endless hours teaching people how to play the game and promoting the sport he loved so much. Sadly, Karl passed away suddenly in October, 2011, before he had the chance to realize the magnitude of his efforts. This annual tournament is in honor of his memory and we encourage players of all skill levels and ability to join in the fun and competition.
